Monday morning we wake up to the sound of an alarm clock, hit snooze a few times and finally roll out of bed because we have to.
Then we hurry to get dressed, have breakfast if there’s time, get out the door and start our morning commute.
We drop the kids off (if applicable), arrive at work and start doing our tasks.
We take orders all day long from someone who may or may not be qualified to give them.
We are told when to take a coffee break and have lunch.
Then the grind finally stops and we can go home, sometimes exhausted.
But we’ll be back tomorrow...
This goes on all week long and finally, the weekend arrives.
We get a couple of days off to be with our family and do whatever we want.
But come Sunday night we start getting that sick to our stomach feeling, because tomorrow it starts all over again.
We get paid for our service every couple of weeks but we’re always living paycheck to paycheck, month after month.
For most people this goes on for years.
Because this is what we've been taught.
By our family, friends, school systems and society as a whole.
But they're not the ones feeling our pain, are they?

Once this is done, we are free to do whatever we want with our day.
